Stepdance Day, Littley Green, Essex, Sunday 21st July

Steve and his team at The Compasses, Littley Green, Essex were delighted to be hosting this year’s Stepdance Day. It is a pub highly thought of by our Essex musician friends and Steve Monk, who we remember every year at Stepdance Day, used to host a regular session here. The pub is a member of the 6th generation of the Ridley Brewing Family and has a superb selection of Real Ale and Traditional Ciders to choose from. It also serves food and for those coming a distance, has some accommodation. For more details see HERE

We enjoyed our third Sunday afternoon of Music, Song and Dance to yet another packed house. Co-ordinated by our wonderful volunteer Jan Robinson, we were treated to a wide mix of performers. A report including photographs and video clips can be found HERE. Thank to all involved – those taking part, those in the audience supporting and the number of volunteers who just got on and helped make it happen.
