TEAM EATMT

Once again we are delighted to have on board Artistic Director Alan Bearman and a small but dedicated team of volunteers who are working hard behind the scenes to bring you a wide mix of events taking place across the town of Stowmarket, throughout the day and into the evening. In addition we have on the day volunteers whose time is also invaluable*.

Alan Bearman, George Monger, Peter Booth, Jan Robinson, Sue Lawrence, Dave Evans, Nina Truin, Steve Atkinson, Fiona Davies, Doreen West, Shirley Harry, Eammon Andrews, Mark Bartholomew and Bethany Last.

With thanks to our volunteer stewards on the day: Ivan Cutting, John Grey, Libby Byne-Grey, Faye Gosling, Jake Savage, Pat Hamilton, Gayle Wade, Jane Bromley, Peter Bromley, Pete Rushmer, Sarah Webber, John Webber, Siobhan Holcombe, Neil Holcombe, Angela Peacock, Michael Czarnobaj, Sarah Capon, Andy Moss, Darren Dordoy, Shez Wright, Lou Hayden and Eliza Bartholomew.

There is also a wider “community” based team not just in the Town of Stowmarket but in the wider “trad/folk” community. Without this far reaching support, this event simply wouldn’t be able to go ahead.

We are delighted to be working with a large number of local businesses and organisations in one way or another which is helping us make this day possible:
Stowmarket Town Council, Mid Suffolk District Council, Colin Lay, Red Gables, Mark Coburn, Stowmarket Culture Group, Halo, Stowmarket Community Hub, Combs Ford Primary School, Meadlands Mens’ Shed, Stowmarket Copy Centre, The Royal Oak, The Queen’s Head, Asda, Bonitas, The Royal William, The JPC and 11 Market Place team, Chocolate Tiger, The Royal British Legion, The team at Stowmarket Parish Church, Stowmarket Library, Stowmarket Scouts, Stowupland High School, Stowmarket Carnival, East Anglian Storytellers, Matt Bell at Fox Yard, Chris Wilbraham – Bury Free Press, Primadonna, Cedars Hotel, Stella Davis and her Art Group at Red Gables, Corporate Tiger Ltd.

We have 250+ performers involved in the day – the majority of whom are voluntary performers. We are grateful for their generosity in sharing their art with us all and keeping us entertained!

We are grateful to the English Folk organisations who have encouraged and supported us including: Bury Folk Festival, FolkEast, Bungay Folk Festival, Ely Folk Festival, EFDSS, Essex Folk Association, Unicorn Folk, Denver Windmill Folk, Cambs Steppers and Mardles.
