Traditional Music Day – Cancelled.
Our seventeenth Traditional Music Day (TMD) which was due to take place in the picturesque market town of Bungay on the Norfolk Suffolk Border has been Cancelled.
We will be back in 2019 ! and look forward to sharing with you information about this event in due course.
PAST TRADITIONAL MUSIC DAYS
2017
This Traditional Music Day was one to remember! Our guests included the highly-acclaimed singer/fiddle player Jackie Oates, legendary Cork singer and writer Jimmy Crowley, singing, fiddling and clog dancing duo Jim and Lynette Eldon, wonderful Scots fiddle player Carol Anderson, performance poet extraordinaire Racker Donnelly, The Pigeon Swing, played superb Quebecois music, plus an exhibition of Karen Cater’s artwork featuring portraits of traditional singers and musicians. Also added to the roster were number of guests from previous years, who couldn’t resist joining us this year! Look out for singers Peta Webb and Ken Hall, Will Noble, Peter & Barbara Snape, Julie & Gavin Atkin, to name just a few. The might Baz Parkes will be calling for the ceilidh. Events include ‘Sound Sisters’, ‘Fire up the Fiddle’, ‘His’n’Hers’, ‘ A Song, A Step and A Story’, stepdancing, dulcimer, jig dolls, talks, sessions etc.
