The John Peel Centre for Creative Arts
Daytime Events start at 10.15am in the John Peel Centre running through the day until 5.00pm. FREE EVENTS ALL DAY
Our Evening Concert taking place here is a Ticketed Event. Doors open at 7.00pm.

The Royal British Legion plays host to a number of Showcase Performances throughout the day (FREE DAYTIME EVENTS) and also into evening for an Informal Concert (this is a ticketed event – follow the link to buy tickets).

Acapella Female Harmony group The Norfolk Broads will be running a Harmony Song Workshop here at 2.30pm.
We will also be showcasing 5 local singing groups as part of our local Project “Stowmarket on Show” from 10.45am.

Dulcimer Finds – join Richard Blake, George Monger and Sally Whytehead talking about their new finds, their renovation projects and collections and then take the opportunity to “Have a Go” at the Dulcimer – a specifically East Anglian tuned traditional instrument

The Royal William
The Royal William welcomes musicians on Friday 20th September in evening as well as the evening of Saturday 21st September.
Paul and his team at the Royal William are hosts for two sessions during the day.

3.00pm-4.30pm traditional music from both sides of the Atlantic with The Old Timers’ String Band
Stowmarket Library
World famous Storyteller John Row leads a Story Round with Dave Tonge and Chris Richardson in the library from 1.00pm-2.00pm.
As well as a wealth of stories shared, there will be a chance to buy merchandise from our storytellers as well as learning about a new Storytelling Club being launched in Stowmarket.

The Royal Oak
James and his Team welcome Morris Dancers and their followers to The Royal Oak during the day.
There is also a dancing spot outside the pub.
Bonitas
This lovely local organic, wholefood shop will be welcoming our wandering Storytellers throughout the day.
Then in the evening – Music, Ale and more! from 6.00pm – 9.00pm with local band High Mileage – a flat country blues band. FREE EVENTS
