Faye Gosling & Jake Lee Savage worked with Year 6 at Westley Middle School to learn the song “Forty Miles”. The song was collected on 25th October 1910 from Charles Newby in the village of Reydon. Charles was a former publican of the White Horse in Southwold. By the time Vaughan Williams visited him in 1910 he was 80 years old and resident in the Almshouses in Reydon.
